Well its the holiday season

And there is no snow in Germany! How crazy is that.

Today is Christmas eve and Colin and I are watching Christmas movies and just spending time together oh and tank of course. We both can't wait to open our Christmas gifts from everyone.

These pictures are from when we went and visited our friend Romeo at the air field he is a mechanic for black hawks. We had a lot of fun.

Jumbalia

Last night our friend Thurman fields made us home made jumbalia!! It was so delicious!! Unfortunately he is leaving back to the states on Friday. But luckily he gave me the recipe :)

Oh and it snowed last night!!

Christmas is a coming!!

Today it snowed/rained!! And it was awesome. I didnt get to play in it because I was at work but it's ok I will next time.

Also today Colin and I got boxes from our parents :) two from my mom and one from his! It is going to be a great Christmas this year! Not only because of the gifts but because it will be Colin's and my second Christmas together so we are going to have so many more memories!!

Graf advent market ( Christmas market)

Last night we went to the Graf Christmas market and had a lot of fun with our friends Jamie And Romeo. Saw a couple bands play and some weird horn players. It was our first but for sure not our last christmas market :)

Fun

Missionaries came over last night and we had a good lesson. Then we had a great talk and got to get to know them better. They have been coming over for about two weeks now.

Today we got a iPad and we are loving it!

Hard day

Well today my brothers girlfriend had a baby boy named Ryan matthew he was 8lbs 9oz. No one in my family has ever seen him but we all love him dearly. My brother Matt and his girlfriend Rachel decide to give him up for adoption. It is a open adoption so I am hoping one day I will get to see what the little man looks like. It has been a hard day for the entire family. Please keep us in your prayers. Specially my brother Matt. It was a hard decision but they did what was best. ( but sshh) nobody knows this but my family.

It has yet to snow here in Germany but we are hopeful! I love fall here tho it is so pretty!!

a little update!

Well a lots happened in the last week or so...

Colin has now moved to a new unit in vilseck which is a 30 minute drive from were we live now. so far colin isnt really liking his new unit but i am hoping it will get better. we are trying to decide what are future is right now. he doesn't know if he wants to re-enlist right now. He will make the decision one day and then change his mind the next i know its going to be a hard decidion for the both of us because his re-enlistment date is next march so we need to start planning. Well colin has another MRE in January with his new unit. i personally am more prepared for this one than the last time.

Well its october and guess what! winter is coming..we are so not ready for winter to be here.

Tank is almost year!! my little baby is growing up so fast..him and i (sometimes colin) go to the dog park everyday around 1630 . he has so much fun there with all his friends. we usually stay there for two hours and when we come home he passes out and sleeps for the rest of the night.

Work for me is going ok. i have made a great friend her name is Jamie and colin became great friends with her boyfriend Romeo. they are both from Hawaii but live in vegas so we all have a lot in common. the only sad part about it is they are leaving in January back to vegas. so we are spending as much time as we can with them before they leave.

Wow

Time sure is flying. June 7th is the last frg meeting before the deployment. Thankfully Colin isn't deploying. I know that can change at anytime but for right now I am totally excited. Colin and I hope to get a car after block leave! Which will make things a lot easier. All my friends here keep saying I am going to get pregnant for sure now that he isn't leaving but let's hope that doesn't come true lol. I wanna wait on the kid thing :)

Friends

So while here in Germany i have made two different types of friends. Ones with kids and ones without. now i LOVE to hang with the people without kids because they have more freedom and they like to travel like colin and i do. But i also LOVE to hang with the people with kids. We have BBQ's with them and just some good family fun and its awesome. but something with them if you don't have kids you kinda get left out. like today all the women i usually hang with that have kids all went to the park together but i wasnt invited well because i don't have any. and two of my friends they don't have kids just found out they are pregnant so they are all baby happy. All people do over here is have kids. i swear everyone is preggers right now its is starting to piss me off. why would these women wanna get pregnant before deployment. there husbands aren't going to be here for the birth if they are lucky they will get to see the baby at a couple weeks, idk just being a army wife can be hard sometimes. you really have to be dependant on yourself. sorry this kind of turned into a rant lol

So today we found out that colin will not be deploying with everyone in July! which we don't know how to feel about this. But it does mean that we will get to spend more time together to do things like this ^^

How come!

Even tho i have to work all weekend and Colin is home he can't do the simplest chores around the house and I have to do them when I get off. I don't get to be lazy on my days off work. I have to clean and do Laundry and go grocery shopping. Why can't he do the same! Sorry just had to get that out. I love him with all my heart but sometimes i wonder...why!!

Ich habe den schönsten Mann!

Today after work Colin gave me a foot massage and it was just what I needed. Work was kinda long and sweaty I had to move and lift heavy boxes all day oh and these boxes are full of shoes! Lol I love shoes but omg if i have to lift anymore of them in gonna die. There is a new girl at work and she is from Vegas!! I feel like I can finally talk to someone normally and not worry about my slang words. Yay for Americans :)

On the home front only 32 more days until Colin and I are in florida!! And I am totally stoked to show him around and make sure he has a great time!

Army wife

So after last nights briefing it is really starting to hit me that Colin will be going to war come July. They still haven't given us a date yet so all we know is mid July. Which will be soon after our leave is over. So I plan to make this summer the best one ever for him!!! I am going to miss this man so much. He is my everything.

Well...

Its been a long time so here is a little update.

Colin and i are doing great and having tons of fun while in Germany. He is scheduled to Deploy sometime in July. we don't have a exact date yet but it can be anytime before september 1st. I hate my job at the px. i was in the clothing department but then they switched me to the shoe department which also sucks! I really can't wait to quit this job. colin says that i can because he makes enough money by just being in the army but i feel bad not working and him paying for everything. so before i stop working at the px i am going to apply at the USO and maybe the CDC.

Tonight Colin and I are going to a pre-deployment briefing. They are going to have speakers from all the buisnesses in the community to try and help all the families be ready for when our men leave. its hard to believe that this time next year Colin is going to be gone.

FRG-Family Readiness Group

Last night colin and i went to our first FRG meeting. ( he had gone to one before but it was while i was back in the states). I am really glad that we went! They gave out calenders to show what days the guys get off and it also shows what nights the guys arent coming home. Its also good to see all the other women in the same situation as me. Colin is going to have a lot of training in the up coming months to get ready for his deloyment. Its hard to think about the fact that he is  going to be gone for a entire year but i know that he is going out there with a gret group of men.

WOOHOO

I am so happy right now!
Yesterday i got a phone call for a interview at the PX and it went really well. and they told me that if they hire me i would get a call from HR around the end of this month. Well today i get a call from HR about another job. they told me that i need to come down and fill out paper work. Its a Sr sales associate position. and its way better than the job that i got interviewed for yesterday with better pay. i like having the responsibility! Colin isn't back from the field yet so he doesn't even know. it sucks but i hope he will be happy when i tell him.

Ich liebe dich

Okay so last week Colin went into the field and was there for basically the entire week. All week i searched for a job and applied to serveral different places. hopefully i will get a call back soon. The week alone sucked but i know he needs the training to get ready for deployment. Its weird to think about the fact that he is going to be gone for a entire year. I dont know how its gonna be but i do know i am gonna want it to go by quickly lol

So i met this girl Marisa online and she lives here at graf like we do. she doesn't live on post but she lives near us somewhat. She is really nice and her and i have started to text and get to know another. Its good to finally make a friend. She wants to hang out soon and that will be awesome! i miss my friends back home but i am so ready to make some new ones :)

Together Forever

Today is mine and Colins 6 month anniversary! and it really just feels like yesterday that we were marrried. My love for him grows everyday. He is so silly i love it! he always makes me smile.

I am trying to find work. I have been working on my resume for the past couple days and i think it looks pretty good. i have tons of experience i just hope i can find something soon.

Colin is back to work today.

still no word on our stuff. its starting to make me angry.
